Mammals

 

These is a mammal because it drinks milk and it dose not lay eggs.

Emperor Penguins vs leopard leopard seal

* Mothers come back from looking for the food and feed their baby

* The mothers feed their chicks by  .

* Now it is the fathers turn to go out to and find some fish

* Just before the father penguins hop in the water they see a leopard seal.  

* Sadly, one penguin gets eaten by a leopard seal. 

  

Antarctica

Antarctica is in the south pole,which is down the bottom of New Zealand.In .Antarctica there are all around the southern ocean..Antarctica is the driest and coldest continent on earth

No people call Antarctica home but only researches.Some animals can survive in cold and dry weather in Antarctica.These Animal are .Penguins,seal and snow petrol which is bird.

Antarctica is split into 2 area.west Antarctica and east Antarctica.Antarctica is split up by trans-Antarctic mountains.

East Antarctic is nearly ¾ bigger then west

The Day That Will.I.Am Came

Did you know that Will.I.Am came to our school.We were so happy that he came. It was a secret but when we got to the hall our principal said it was Will.I.Am.It was so cool to see a singer was coming to our school.

But when he got there camera's everywhere .

First Day Of School

On Monday the first day of school the teachers dressed up .There was four teachers that dressed up in our team. Miss Ouano, Mr Marks ,Mr Slade ,Mr somerville and Miss Lavakula .

Antarctica Sea Temperatures

Did you know the water in Antarctica changers it's temperature-As you go down the temperature stars to go warmer and warmer

Core Samples

This morning Room 14 have been learning how to take core samples. We took samples from a cupcake and guessed what the core (inside) looked like. In real life geologists take samples of what is under the land.
