Rena Oil Spill

Today we read a book about the Rena boat how it had tipped a lot of oil in the water.All most all the containers fell out of the ship when it was the about to sink.it sank because it had hit a reef and the beach near it has oil patches on it and you swim in that water you can get sick because the water is polluted and that's why you don’t get in the dirty water and that was my story about the Rena. Titanic

The titanic sunk because it scraped an iceberg and it had to much water in it then in sank in 1 hour.
There were only twenty or more life boat on the ship so some had to stay on the ship and die.
And the captain diced that he will go down with the ship and many life's were lost.

My Badminton Lesson

Yay what a fun day the past 2 week our school have been getting Badminton lesson.  Have you ever played Badminton before? Well it is a very fun game . It’s like tennis but we don’t use a ball instead we use a  Shuttlecock.The person who instruct us his name is Danny but sometimes I forget his name and I call him Dan. First we line up outside our classroom and we wait for our teacher and when he comes out we go straight to the hall and we get started.

First we have a warm up game called stuck in the mud. I get so tired because the teachers chase us and their fast they are like flash. After that we lined up in two lines and we went to get a racket and shuttlecock and go back and sit down. then we sit down and wait for him to teach us some grills like backhand serve or forehand.and that was my badminton lesson.thanks for reading.

Sampan

In Aberdeen now you can live on land and you can go for a ride inn a sampan.You can buy food and eat on a big sampan. A you can even catch fish in the water front and can sleep in one.

My Book Review About The Demon Dentist

This week we had given a book from Mrs Jacobson for SSR.The book that i have chosen a book called THE DEMON DENTIST.It all started with a little boy named Alfie and he lived with his dad. Alfie mother had died giving birth. so he lived just with his dad.his dad went work all day but then one day his dad fell and and then he went to the hospital and the nurse said the he can never walk again. Alfie had rotten teeth and when he had an dentist appointment Alfie would hide it on the top shelf because he new his dad wouldn't reach it. I think this is the best book i have ever read.I think you will like this book to.

Jet Boat

The jet boat engine works by sucking in water through  a screen under the boat. And also it shoot  it back out the back of the engine in a high-speed jet steam. That pushes the boat forward.

My Holiday Highlight

Do you want to listen to my holidays? Well I took a trip to Australia to  visit my dad.I was very happy to see him because i haven’t seen him in a very long time. First we hoped on the plane and it got so boring that i reached into my bag and got my phone out and then i started playing flappy bird. Im not very good at flappy bird and guess what my highest score is only 15  then i was getting bord so i reached into my bag and i drawed.The we herd the pilet say put on your set belt because we are landing now.

once we got of the plane my dad was standing right there then i ran a gave him a big hug.Then he told me lets go McDonald and i didn't really like it because the meat was dry the we slept at my aunt's house .After a week later i went back to new zealand just the day before white sunday.then i saw miss Do you want to listen to my holidays? A Wild Ride

Why do we use a knife and fork to eat?

Why do we use a fork and knife to eat?

Introduction:

Do you like sticky or greasy hands? When using a knife and fork is better because it can help you from getting germs. Using a knife and fork you have to cut your meat into bite size pieces

keeping clean:

Keeping clean means you use your knife and fork. If you don’t use your knife and fork you can get sick because you don’t know where you put your hand. Knife and fork helps because it can help you  be clean and never be dirty again.

bite size pieces:

when you're eating it  is always better to cut your meat or food into bite size pieces, so you won't choke on any large piece of food. Using a knife and fork helps you from getting heaps of bacteria on your hands.  

Conclusion:

Thats why when we eat with a knife and fork.It helps you dont get sick and and put germs in your mouth.So now you know the truth that why you alway use a knife and fork.

Stride Jumps

This week year five and six classes learned how to use stem and leaf graph. It has been a good experience for us students because we have learnt stuff that we haven't learnt before by the best year 5 and 6 students.We have also learnt stuff that have been very dificult.

4. Then you finely turn(south west)to Morrin road and there. your and the netball centre

1. first go straight (North) down pt England road.
2. Then go right (North East) around the round-a-bout down Elstreet ave .
3.The turn right to Taniwha st (North East).
4.After that turn left (West) and now you made it.

Our Year 5 and 6 Camp 2014

Have you ever been camp well At last the day and week went past and it is camp day. Camp is the best day ever it is my second time coming and I remember it just like its yesterday . I remember last year I fell out of the kayak and  and this year I tried not to fall out. Camp is the best because you do fun and cool stuff like,kayaking,top town and swimming and so on. My Statistical Investigation

 Last week Mr Somerville 's maths group talked about the weather.  As you can see I did what is the highest humidity on the 20th of 
February. We used a  goggle spreadsheets and then turned it into a graph. I can see that at 10 o'clock the temperature went high and then it dropped at 4 o'clock. I conclude that  the highest humidity  will be the biggest in that week.

We predict that:
1. There are more Girls that like dancing then boys.
2. More boys like Reading then girls.
3. More girls like math then boys
4. More boys that like singing then girls.

We have found out that:
1. Both boys and girls like maths equally
2. More girls like to sing than boys by one more
3. More boys like to dance than girls by one more
4. Both boys and girls like reading equally

My Best Holiday Ever

WOW what an exciting day my family and I went to watch Wreck It Ralph. Well it all started when my mum and i went to walk my puppy to the beach. Then I went for a swim and once I got in the water it was so cold then I jumping the water and it was warm. Then my mum said “come lets get something to eat” and I said “OK mum.” As we were walking home we saw a sign and it said that there was a movie playing tonight  so we rushed home and we asked my dad and he said “OK.”

Well where was I oh yeah My aunt talk my little cousin for a ride and they said that there coming to. Then Once it got darker and darker we went to go watch the movie. As we were walking we could see the big screen and when we got there they were giving out free chocolate out. After that we searched for my aunt and it was like an adventure and we found them they were sitting in the front . And the was my holiday To Be Continued.  

Learning How To Use Pizap
